WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 5, 2012) – The American Chemistry Council today launched advertisements commending Congressman Hal Rogers for his support of policies that will build a strong manufacturing base in America.

“As one of America’s largest manufacturing industries, we want to acknowledge Congressman Rogers’s leadership on issues that will stimulate our economy and get people in Kentucky and across the country back to work, like a comprehensive energy policy, pro-growth tax policies and rational science-based regulation,” explained Cal Dooley, President and CEO of the American Chemistry Council.

Dooley added, “In a time when so much of the political discussion Americans see is negative, it’s important to highlight the positive work Congressman Hal Rogers is doing to promote the two most important issues facing our country—economic growth and job creation.”

The advertisements will run on broadcast, cable and radio in the Lexington media market for three weeks. The ads will encourage constituents to contact Congressman Rogers’s office and tell him to keep up the good work.
