WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 12, 2011) – The American Chemistry Council (ACC) today applauded Congressmen Tim Murphy (R-Pa.), Tim Walz (D-Minn.), Bill Shuster (R-Pa.), and Jim Costa (D-Calif.) for introducing the “Infrastructure, Jobs and Energy Independence Act of 2011.”
“We commend Congressman Murphy and his colleagues for their bipartisan, balanced approach to energy legislation,” said Cal Dooley, President and CEO of the American Chemistry Council. “We are heartened that this ‘all-of-the-above’ energy bill addresses both supply and demand and avoids distorting markets or picking winners and losers. It’s the kind of comprehensive energy policy that all energy consumers can support.”
