WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 12, 2011) - The American Chemistry Council (ACC) today applauded Congressmen Tim Murphy (R-Pa.), Tim Walz (D-Minn.), Bill Shuster (R-Pa.), and Jim Costa (D-Calif.) for introducing the "Infrastructure, Jobs and Energy Independence Act of 2011."

"We commend Congressman Murphy and his colleagues for their bipartisan, balanced approach to energy legislation," said Cal Dooley , President and CEO of the American Chemistry Council. "We are heartened that this 'all-of-the-above' energy bill addresses both supply and demand and avoids distorting markets or picking winners and losers. It's the kind of comprehensive energy policy that all energy consumers can support."
