WASHINGTON (Jan. 31, 2014) - The American Chemistry Council (ACC) announced today that it has launched advertisements complimenting Senator Mark Begich for his support of policies that support U.S. energy production, grow the economy and create jobs in Alaska.

"Because ACC represents one of the nation's largest manufacturing sectors, we want to thank Senator Begich for his strong support of sound domestic energy policies that are essential to U.S. manufacturers, overall economic growth and the creation of good-paying jobs," explained Cal Dooley , President and CEO of ACC.

Dooley added, "In a time when so much of the political discourse in America is negative, it's important to highlight the positive work Senator Begich is doing to promote some of the most important issues facing our country- energy security , economic growth and job creation."

The advertisements will run in several media markets for three weeks throughout Alaska, including Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau, and will encourage constituents to contact the Senator's office to tell him to keep up the good work.
