WASHINGTON, D.C. (January 17, 2012) – The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) will be on hand at the SprayFoam Convention & Expo in Dallas from Jan. 30  – Feb. 2, 2012. Come by CPI’s booth, number 714, for free information from CPI about spray foam stewardship, SPF application training and the new low-pressure SPF application video.

“Spray foam stewardship is one of CPI’s primary areas of focus,” said CPI Senior Director Lee Salamone. “At the SprayFoam Convention, we will be on hand to offer information about health and safety training for high-pressure SPF application, provide numerous guidance documents related to spray foam, and show a new video focused on low-pressure SPF. We invite everyone to visit CPI at booth 714.”

As spray foam continues to grow in popularity, CPI and its Spray Foam Coalition have developed numerous spray foam stewardship documents and other materials, including the Websites www.spraypolyurethane.org and www.whysprayfoam.org. With the addition of product benefits literature, the library of materials available for free to spray foam professionals has expanded significantly.

In addition to hosting a booth, CPI will provide an update on its activities during the General Session on Feb. 1. Later that day, CPI leadership will discuss its research initiatives on SPF during Breakout Session 2, as well as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s chemical action plans on certain diisocyanates.

The SprayFoam Convention & Expo will be held at the InterContinental Hotel in Dallas from Jan. 30 – Feb. 2. CPI will host a booth in the Crystal Ballroom for the three days of the event. Booth 714 is located opposite of the main entrance to the exhibit hall and two rows to the right of the food and beverage area.
