Deadlines this Month for Innovation Award, Poster Submissions, Hotel and Registration Discounts

WASHINGTON, D.C. (August 3, 2011) – The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council announced today that deadlines are fast approaching for the Polyurethanes 2011 Technical Conference. One of the premier polyurethane industry events, the conference runs from September 26-28 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tenn.

With the conference less than two months away, prospective attendees and presenters should act now before key deadlines pass, including those for poster presentations and Innovation Award nominations as well as early registration and hotel block discounts. Additionally, those interested in the Professional Development Program are advised to register before August 26 to ensure a seat in the courses of their choice.

Nominations for this year’s Innovation Award must be received by CPI no later than 5 p.m. EDT on August 12, 2011. CPI’s Polyurethane Innovation Award recognizes the ingenuity and foresight of companies and individuals whose visions and perseverance bring new products, technologies and initiatives to the marketplace. Submissions for this year’s poster presentations must be received by August 22, 2011. Click here for the poster submission form. Posters may address breakthrough technology in a variety of areas, including: polyurethane market or chemistry; developing markets; advancements in product areas; and, environmental and stewardship issues.
