WASHINGTON (February 8, 2021) – Registration for the 2021 GlobalChem Conference, set to be held virtually from March 29 – April 1, 2021, is now open on globalchem.org. Coupled with the GlobalChem Exhibition, this annual event offers a valuable opportunity to not only review recent developments in global chemicals management but also connect with industry peers.
This year’s conference will focus on “Exploring the Boundaries of Science Based Chemical Regulations in Unprecedented Times” with a series of virtual workshops addressing the following questions:
- What are the boundaries between scientific opinion and chemical policy?
- What criteria exist to identify high quality, relevant and reliable scientific information?
- Is the regulatory reach of current regulation of chemicals and chemical wastes simply too narrow?
- How should we determine the chemical regulatory needs of developing countries?
- What are the key foundational elements of chemical management policies?
- How do trade and chemical management policies interact?
Beveridge & Diamond PC is the principal sponsors of this year’s conference and exhibition.
In addition, the TSCA and Global Affairs 101 Pre-Conference Workshop will be held virtually each Wednesday leading up to the conference, beginning on March 3. Attendees will be able to experience the workshops and network with others through Remo, an app comprising of interactive “rooms.”
Registrations are available for ACC members and nonmembers, and the full information can be found here.
