When the interests of many come together as one, we speak and act with a stronger, more effective voice helping to create a more favorable business and political climate that protects the people and products of American chemistry.
In 2012, we added 19 new members and eight new chemical product and sector groups, continuing to diversify and expand our membership throughout the entire chemical manufacturing value chain.
|
The value, benefits, and opportunities that membership offers provide an immediate return on investment through:
- Powerful advocacy
- Enhanced performance and operating efficiencies
- New business opportunities
- Stronger stakeholder relations
- Economic and industry intelligence, research and benchmarking
In 2012, we helped defeat or amend 281 chemical regulation and product ban proposals; advanced building energy efficiency codes in nine states; and drove responsible pro-fracking outcomes in 20 states.
