The Aliphatic Esters Panel was chartered in 1999 to collect information and conduct testing on a category of chemicals for the U.S. High Production Volume (HPV) Challenge Program.
The Aliphatic Esters Panel is composed of manufacturers and importers of aliphatic esters and is committed to the sound evaluation of and testing of aliphatic esters.
The Panel’s Initiatives Related to Aliphatic Esters Include:
Evaluating the available health and environmental data.
Proposing and conducting needed testing, if any, as a result of their evaluation of health and environmental data, or as a result of governmental initiatives.
Working with government agencies to address any discrepancies related to the Panel’s chemical assessments and test plans.
Submitting data to appropriate agencies.
