Welcome to the "Handling and Transportation Guide for Ethylene, Refrigerated Liquid (Cryogenic Ethylene)." The Cryogenic Ethylene Transportation Safety Panel of the American Chemistry Council prepared this Guide to address the health, safety and environmental aspects associated with the distribution and use of cryogenic ethylene.
The Panel is comprised of cryogenic ethylene producers, equipment manufacturers and owners, and service providers, and promotes the principles of safe handling, transportation, and use of cryogenic ethylene. This Guide, first published in April 2004, is a product stewardship project of the Panel.
