The American Chemistry Council Ethylene Glycol Ethers Panel was formed in 1980 to expand the toxicity database on ethylene-based glycol ethers, provide safety information to users and government agencies, and promote scientifically sound regulatory action.
Current members of the Panel are: The Dow Chemical Company, Eastman Chemical Company, Equistar Chemicals LP, and Arch Chemicals, Inc. Member companies manufacture and market more than 20 ethylene glycol ethers, whose chemical and trade names and CAS numbers are listed in one of the Panel's Information Updates.
