As the trade association for the world’s leading companies engaged in the business of chemistry, ACC is committed to increasing public awareness about chemistry with this integrated communications campaign. Campaign materials continue to share stories about the many ways that products of American chemistry make modern life possible. The campaign is a way for the business of chemistry to engage in an open and constructive dialogue with the people who use and benefit from their products and fill the knowledge gap about the industry and the products it makes. The campaign involves advertising, as well as a great website, an employee outreach program including posters and a magazine, and different PR and media-relations activities. The program is a tool of advocacy and is integrated into industry employee grassroots and get-out-the-vote activities.
