Ethylene Oxide Panel

Since 1982 American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Ethylene Oxide Panel has been a leading source of Product Stewardship and regulatory information on ethylene oxide. Membership of the Panel includes major producers and users of ethylene oxide in North America.

The Panel is chartered to promote the principles of Responsible Care® with respect to the safe handling and use of ethylene oxide.  The Panel is actively involved in communicating on advocacy issues, current research, as well as educating government agencies and the public on health, safety and environmental issues arising from the production, use, storage, transportation and disposal of ethylene oxide.

The Panel includes the following task groups:

  • Toxicology Research
  • Environmental
  • Safety
  • Industrial Hygiene

The Ethylene Oxide Panel invites you to explore our web page, where you will find information on ethylene oxide and obtain a better understanding of why ethylene oxide is an essential ingredient in many products that are an important part of our lives.
