The American Chemistry Council (ACC) Propylene Glycol Ethers Panel (PGEP) was formed in 1993 to expand the toxicity database on propylene-based glycol ethers, provide safety information to users and government agencies, and promote scientifically sound regulatory action.
Current members of the Panel are: The Dow Chemical Company, Eastman Chemical Company, Lyondell Chemical Worldwide, Inc., and Arch Chemicals, Inc. Member companies manufacture and market 15 propylene glycol ethers, whose chemical and trade names and CAS numbers are listed in one of the Panel's Information Updates.
