Disaster Relief for Haiti

When a natural disaster strikes, the recovery operations of many ACC member companies typically extend beyond fence lines. In response to the major earthquake that has devastated the island nation of Haiti, our members are focused on providing humanitarian relief for the millions of people affected by this natural disaster.  Member companies and their personnel are responding by donating money, time, and much-needed supplies.

In addition, ACC collected over $15,000 in donations from its staff and others to raise money for the Chlorine Chemistry Foundation, a tax-exempt charity established by ACC that works to provide safe drinking water to underserved communities and areas ravaged by natural disasters. The foundation has directed those funds to International Action, a well-established relief group that has been working in Haiti for years to provide clean drinking water, among other things. International Action is currently working with the U.S. military to provide portable drinking water tanks and water-treatment chemicals at the Port-au-Prince harbor.

Please join us. Together, we can help the distressed nation of Haiti.
