The LRI Research Strategy provides the framework for development of more detailed research plans that align with health and environmental issues of highest priority to society and the chemistry industry.
Now available—LRI Research Strategy 2009-2015, Modernizing Approaches to Chemical Risk Assessment. Areas of research focus include effective interpretation of the results from new technologies for toxicity testing, innovative tools to characterize and predict environmentally relevant exposures, and improved assessments for susceptible populations, especially children, through a better understanding of genetic influences and gene-environment interactions. - The global strategy places a priority on the major emerging issues of interpreting biomonitoring data. Please view the LRI Global Strategy for more information.
- The ICCA-LRI also developed “Interpretation of Human Biomonitoring Data: A Research Strategy.”
