Disaster Relief for Haiti
ACC collected over $15,000 in donations from its staff and others to raise money for earthquake relief for Haiti through the Chlorine Chemistry Foundation, a tax-exempt charity that works to provide safe drinking water to underserved communities and areas ravaged by natural disasters. The foundation has directed those funds to International Action, a well-established relief group that has been working in Haiti for years to provide clean drinking water. International Action is currently working with the U.S. military to provide portable drinking water tanks and water-treatment chemicals at the Port-au-Prince harbor.
