In October 2006, the Chemical Sector Cyber Security Program hosted its Fall General Meeting at the Offices of the American Chemistry Council in Arlington, Va. More than 60 attendees, representing 23 chemical companies and 12 technology providers attended the event.
The Chemical Sector Cyber Security Program was honored to have Editor Matthew Berger from Congressional Quarterly as its featured guest speaker to share his perspectives on the impact legislation will have on cyber security in the year to come. The Fall General Meeting also featured multiple networking sessions, presentations by chemical company IT professionals on a variety of current cyber security topics, and two sessions of concurrent project team meetings.
