Chemical Sector Cyber Security Program

Risk management and reduction. Useful practices and processes. Access to cyber security threat information. Coordination with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on security priorities. Ongoing discussions with technology providers to enhance security solutions. These attributes form the foundation of the chemical industry's cyber security program.

Since 2002, industry leaders have come together in an industry-wide effort to enhance cyber security performance in business and manufacturing control systems. The Chemical Sector Cyber Security Program focuses on risk management and reduction to minimize the potential impact of cyber attacks on business and manufacturing systems.

Offering a variety of guidance documents, webcasts, and white papers, the Cyber Security Program gives companies throughout the global chemical sector access to resources they can use to evaluate and elevate their company’s cyber security preparedness. It is also a premier place for chemical company cyber security professionals to network and share information with peers that can be taken back and used to enhance their company's individual systems.
