Question:
The text and images sometimes go below the bottom of the multimedia walkthrough
window so I can't see them. Why does this happen?
Answer #1:
Your browser's text size is larger than the default size. Close all your
open browser windows. Reopen your browser. Go back to Hands On Plastics
(www.HandsOnPlastics.com).
- In Netscape, click
on the "View" item in the browser menu. Select "Decrease
Font". Go to the "Activities" section of the Hands On Plastics website and try the multimedia walkthrough again. If you still
have problems, try repeating this whole procedure once again.
- In Internet Explorer,
click on the "View" item in the browser menu. Select "Text
Size". Select "Medium" from the submenu. Go to the "Activities"
section of the Hands On Plastics website and try the multimedia walkthrough
again.
Answer #2 (for PCs
only):
Your Windows font size is larger than the default size.
1. Click on
the "Start" button on your taskbar.
2. Select "Settings". Select "Control Panel". In the
new window, double click on the "Display" icon.
3. In the new window, click on the "Settings" tab at the top
right of the window. Now click on the "Advanced" button at the
bottom right of the window.
4. In the new window, the pull down menu below the words "Font size"
should say "Small fonts" (this is the default Windows setting).
If it says "Large fonts" or "Other...", change this
to read "Small fonts" instead.
5. Close all your open windows. Your computer will ask you to restart.
Select "OK". Now try accessing www.HandsOnPlastics.com. Everything
should work fine.

Answer:
Check to make sure all Javascript functions are enabled in your browser.
- In Netscape,
click on the "Edit" item in your browser's menu. Select
"Preferences...". In the new window, click on the word "Advanced"
(do not select the "+" sign next to the word, but instead
click on the actual word). Make sure the first five check boxes are
checked. You do not need to select the "Send email address
as anonymous FTP..." check box.

You may be using a very old browser. Either download the latest version
of Internet Explorer (recommended) at www.microsoft.com/ie
or try a non-animated version of the activities page by clicking here.
