Since its launch in April of 2000, a number of educators have taken the

"Today we had our annual Recycling Awards Assembly. We have been doing an aluminum recycling program for about 8 or nine years. Today as an added bonus we invited the coordinator for recycling for the elementary school from our city to come and give the children a heads up on recycling. One of the items she showed was your kit. Needless to say, I was totally fascintated with it. I am the coordinator on our campus for the teachers. I quickly showed our third grade teacher the kit. He, too, was very impressed. I have already requested a sample kit for myself so I can go around to the other classes to show them your fantastic teaching kit. I was wondering...would it be possible to order 3 more kits? I would like one for each of the grade levels on our campus. I think it could benefit second through fourth graders. They were very interested in the information during our assembly. I thank you for putting out useful information to our teachers. | "I was at the NSTA convention in Orlando and received a kit at the breakfast. I teach second grade and am using the kit now as we talk about our recycling unit. I love the kit and it works so well for showing the kids the plastic pellets as I am explaining the recycling of plastics. We use to have a speaker come in and show the students all of the different pellets and then that got cut because of budget cuts. So I was very excited to receive this kit." |
