"Some Polymers Here" Activity Objective Materials Procedure A. Introduce song. First and second verse only. Tell the class that they are going on a "Polymer Point" around the building. As a class, identify polymers around the school (teacher keep a list.) When the class returns, recall what was seen and discuss the importance of each polymer. Make a list of items entitled "School". B. Review song (verses one and two.) Introduce verse three and have a "Polymer Point" in the classroom. Then discuss the importance of each item. Make list of items entitled "Class". C. Review song (verses one, two, and three.) Introduce verse four and discuss a "Polymer Point" project to do at home. Each child must find a set number of items in the home. During the next day's lesson, each child will share the list of polymers found. Make a list entitled "Home". Parents can get involved with the "Point". D. Sing: All verses.
