Become a Member of the Plastics Foodservice Packaging Group.
Any company that manufactures and sells polystyrene (or plastics) resin or polystyrene (or plastics foodservice) packaging products is eligible to be a member of PFPG.
Membership Categories
The three types of memberships are Voting Member membership; International Member membership; and International Association Member membership.
Voting Member
Any company with facilities in North America that manufactures plastics resins, processes plastics resins or processes plastic foodservice packaging is eligible to become a Voting Member of the PFPG. Any member that manufactures resin also must be a member in good standing of the ACC. The annual dues structure for a Voting Member membership for FY 2009 is as follows:
RESIN SUPPLIER MEMBERS:
- POLYSTYRENE RESIN SUPPLIER—Annual dues are $350 per million pounds of polystyrene resin sold per year for all packaging for food service applications.
- NON-POLYSTYRENE RESIN SUPPLIER—Annual dues are $350 per million pounds of plastics resin sold per year for all non-polystyrene plastics packaging for food service applications.
FABRICATOR (CONVERTER) MEMBERS:
- FOAM POLYSTYRENE FABRICATOR:
- Existing members as of 1/1/07—Annual dues are $350 per million pounds of polystyrene resin fabricated per year into foam packaging for foam food service packaging.
- New members after 1/1/09—Annual dues one-year introductory rate are $2,500 per year (flat rate fee). After the one year introductory rate, all plastics foodservice fabricators will pay the same rate as determined each year by the PFPG Steering Committee.
- SOLID ORIENTED POLYSTYRENE (OPS):
- Existing members as of 1/1/07—Annual dues are $350 per million pounds of polystyrene resin fabricated per year into solid/OPS and non-PS plastics resin packaging for food service applications.
- New members after 1/1/09—Annual dues one-year introductory rate are $2500 per year (flat rate fee). After the one year introductory rate, all plastics foodservice fabricators will pay the same rate as determined each year by the PFPG Steering Committee.
- NON-POLYSTYRENE FABRICATOR/CONVERTER:
- Existing members as of 1/1/07—Annual dues are $350 per million pounds of polystyrene resin fabricated per year into solid/OPS and non-PS plastics resin packaging for food service applications.
- New members after 1/1/09—Annual dues one-year introductory rate are $2500 per year (flat rate fee). After the one year introductory rate, all plastics foodservice fabricators will pay the same rate as determined each year by the PFPG Steering Committee.
INTERNATIONAL MEMBERS:
Any company that manufactures and sells polystyrene resin or polystyrene packaging products outside of the U.S. qualifies as an International Member. International Members may attend the annual meeting of PFPG and global meetings PFPG may participate in, and will receive PFPG executive updates, bulletins and other PFPG publications. International Members do not have voting privileges. The annual dues are $5,000.
INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION MEMBER:
Any international association that represents companies that manufactures and sells polystyrene resin or polystyrene packaging products outside of the U.S. qualifies as an International Association Member. International Association Members may attend the annual meeting of PFPG and global meetings PFPG may participate in, and will receive PFPG executive updates, bulletins and other PFPG publications. International Association Members do not have voting privileges. The annual dues are $5,000.
