Monthly RCMS/RC14001 Monthly Implementation Focus Calls: Next Call Set for Thursday, March 4 at 11:00 AM EST
Our monthly focus calls continue in 2010, with certification audit activity increasing substantially to insure meeting second cycle deadline of December 31, 2010. You can review highlights from previous calls which are posted at the following link: RCMS Certification—Supplemental Tools. The February 4th call included an update on the recent RCMS Certificate controversy and sharing of information regarding common non-conformances from ACC’s 2009 survey in two areas: policy— “how to get a major non-conformance”; and records—“what is required by the technical specifications, what is required by your system.”
We will continue to include latest information regarding certification activities throughout both the member and partner rosters, and to highlight items of particular interest to practitioners directly involved with implementation of RCMS or RC14001.
Plan to join the next call on Thursday, March 4 and share your experiences and/or learn what both ACC member and RC Partner companies are experiencing in their current audit efforts. Contact either Dan Roczniak or Dave Gleason for further information.

Two Additional RCMS/RC14001 Implementation Workshops—2010
A second workshop is now scheduled for Charlotte, NC March 16 – 18 and subsequently a third will be held in Chicago, IL June 22 – 24. These implementation workshops have continued to serve extremely well in clarifying any questions or concerns that might arise in interpretation and implementation of either the RCMS or the RC14001 management system. The workshops are free to all interested member and partner companies. Each workshop provides an excellent opportunity for members and partners to work together in creating full understanding of the practical aspects of the RCMS. In addition, these events provide helpful tips and examples regarding each element based upon experiences since inception of the RCMS. If you are interested in attending the March session, please contact Dave Gleason as soon as possible to reserve a seat.
