ACC members and Responsible Care® Partners are required to report on key performance indicators annually. ACC collects this performance information annually through a password-protected online reporting system. Deadlines for members and Partners are provided on the metrics reporting system website and vary according to the performance metric.
Each member and Partner company is issued several username and password combinations to access the online reporting system so that data can be viewed, entered, and approved by any number of company employees. The online system also allows Responsible Care company employees to run reports and download data for further benchmarking and analyses.

Performance Measures Taskforce Presents Final Report to Responsible Care Team and BCRC
Back in October 2006, Brenda Keillor of Dow presented the final recommendations of the Performance Measures Review Taskforce to the Responsible Care Team and the BCRC. On June 6th, 2007, the ACC Board of Directors approved the final performance measures, and changes to current measures, proposed by the Taskforce and supported by the work of several ACC advocacy teams. These changes will allow us to better communicate the overall health of our industry world wide as well as domestically. For the 2009 reporting year, we will begin collecting data on hazardous air pollutants, water consumption and other safety related metrics. Other measures to be reported will identify increasing corporate social responsibility efforts that will include community involvement programs as well as emergency response capabilities.
