The Responsible Care Partnership Program allows companies that do not produce chemicals, but play a key role in the chemical supply chain to participate in Responsible Care. These companies are the rail, truck, barge, warehousing and distribution companies that connect chemical producers and users. The Partnership Program promotes a common ethic throughout the chemical supply chain, bringing a culture of environmental, health and safety excellence to all subscribing Responsible Care companies.
The measure presented here describes a company’s commitment to doing business with Partner companies. ACC encourages its members to support and recognize Responsible Care Partners and this measure allows a better understanding of the depth of this consideration, and an accurate gauge of the extension of Responsible Care throughout the chemical supply chain. This measure was first introduced in 2008.
