Chemical Products and Technology: Coordinator

This position is responsible for supporting designated staff with administrative, financial and issue management services provided to groups within the Chemical Products and Technology (CPT) division. The position directly supports select CPT groups and overall CPT operations, including management of assigned task groups, projects, websites, systems and operations. The position reports directly to the Vice President, CPT.

CHEMTREC: Relations Development Manager

The position is responsible for the planning, development and management of CHEMTREC’s relationships with different entities, such as potential key customers, trade associations, government agencies, marine ports, large carriers and other similar transportation-related entities. The position is further responsible for the development and management of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Commercial Agreements with foreign ERIPs, such as: NRCC (China) and SETIQ (Mexico). The position reports directly to the Senior Director, Sales and Marketing.

Information Technology: Business Solutions Developer

The position is responsible for supporting the unique business needs and objectives of departments/divisions within the American Chemistry Council (ACC) through the translation of articulated business requirements into robust technology solutions. The position manages all phases of software/solution development, including research, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. The position is further responsible for assisting in the maintenance of existing applications, including recommending improvements to software functionality, performance and processes. The position reports directly to the Senior Director, Information Technology.

State Affairs: Manager, State Affairs

The position is responsible implementing the day-to-day activities of the American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) political grassroots program, including state legislative and regulatory tracking of various issues impacting member companies. The position is also responsible for monitoring state legislative and regulatory agency activities, developing advocacy materials for grassroots and lobbying efforts, interacting with contract lobbyists and consultants as well as representing the ACC before legislative and regulatory negotiations. The position reports directly to the Director, State Affairs.

Sustainability and Market Outreach: Director, Science/Technical Affairs

The position is responsible for designing, implementing and executing technical, scientific, and related policy strategy within the sustainability and market outreach department. The position will be a primary interface with members, key downstream market users, solution providers, standards setters and science organizations on issues related to scientific methods for tracking industry and product performance and chemical evaluation in the private sector. The position works closely with key internal staff and external stakeholders and reports directly to the Senior Director, Science and Technical Affairs.
