WASHINGTON (May 6, 2016) - Chairman Inhofe (R-OK) and Ranking Member Boxer (D-CA) of the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works today reached an agreement on the reform of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). In response to this breakthrough, the American Chemistry Council (ACC) issued the following statement:

"The agreement that Senator Inhofe reached with Senator Boxer builds upon the work of Senators Vitter, Udall, Markey and others and paves the way for final passage, and we greatly appreciate the commitment and hard work of the Senators and their staffs. We look forward to a swift resolution with the House and passage soon thereafter."
