WASHINGTON (July 9, 2013) - The American Chemistry Council (ACC) issued the following statement today in response to news that the Senate is expected to vote on the nomination of Gina McCarthy to serve as Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA):

"ACC and its  members are pleased that Gina McCarthy's nomination to serve as Administrator of the EPA will be moving forward to a vote by the full Senate. We commend Senator Vitter and all those involved for working diligently to resolve the issues that have delayed action on her nomination.
