WASHINGTON (November 10, 2015) - "Today, the  U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announced new guidance for its LEED v4 Materials & Resources credit, intended to help building product manufacturers meet the requirements of option 3 related to the environmental and health impacts of their products.

"The American Chemistry Council (ACC), along with our  members and other supply chain stakeholders, was pleased to provide input into this process to make option 3 of the credit actionable and science-based. ACC congratulates USGBC for completing this milestone through a multi-stakeholder process and looks forward to working with organizations in the building and construction supply chain to demonstrate leadership through comprehensive management systems for environment, health, and safety impacts of chemical products."
