NAPLES, Fla. (November 11, 2016) – The American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Board of Directors approved the addition of three new Regular members and one new Affiliate member today. The board also approved three new Responsible Care® Partner companies. In September of this year, Monsanto was approved as a Regular member by ACC’s Executive Committee.

Today’s newly approved Regular member companies include:

  • Alexium Inc. – develops standalone specialty chemical solutions
  • ORG CHEM Group, LLC – a technology-based company specializing in the distillation of heat sensitive materials via short path distillation
  • Veolia Regeneration Services – provides sulfuric acid regeneration, sulfur gas recovery, and produces high-value sulfur derivative products for sale on the open market

At the Affiliate level, ACC’s Board approved the addition of Continuus Energy, LLC, a company that builds, owns and operates state-of-the art solid fuel processing facilities.

In addition to the member companies, ACC’s Board of Directors also approved three new Responsible Care Partner companies:

  • DRT Transportation
  • Grammer Industries
  • Total Quality Logistics

“ACC is pleased to welcome these new member companies along with the new Responsible Care Partner companies. This past year has been a landmark year for ACC and the industry, culminating in the historic passage of the Lautenberg Chemical Safery Act (LCSA), and we wouldn’t have been able to accomplish that without the committed engagement of our members,” said ACC President and CEO Cal Dooley. “As we look ahead to 2017, we will continue our pursuit of science- and risk-based chemical management policies, and a broad and diverse membership is essential to our success.”
