Popular Green Construction Website
Makes it Easier to Access Latest Green Building News and Info

WASHINGTON (September 6, 2016) – Green Building Solutions (greenbuildingsolutions.org), a plastics industry original website by the Plastics Division of the American Chemistry Council, has promoted the use of energy-efficient, resilient, green building materials, and more environmentally friendly methods of construction since 2005. The Division recently updated the site with a fresh, new look and a mobile-¬platform that allows reconfiguring for access across common cell phones, tablets and desktop devices. The upgrades also help deliver a smooth, user experience and better search functionality.

The site brings together first¬hand knowledge and research about the sector from sources like the Department of Energy, National Institute of Standards and Technologies, U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), and Green Globes, which share information on the latest materials that make green building faster, easier, and more resilient.

The updated site now provides more visual content to satisfy the demands of today’s monthly user base of 8 -10,000 builders, designers, architects and specifiers. News, resources, and video content offer the latest perspectives and science on the ever-evolving question: “What is a Green Building?”

The new site will soon integrate “the best of” www.facebook.com/greenbuildingsolutions and www.facebook.com/lifecycleassessment/ into its pages, sharing what’s most popular on the subject in social media, and who is saying so.
