Ads focus on Schrader’s strong economic record

WASHINGTON (Aug. 12, 2016) – In a combined effort to showcase the positive work of Members of Congress, the American Chemistry Council (ACC) and North America’s Building Trades Unions will run issue advertisements for Congressman Kurt Schrader (D-Ore.-05). The ads highlight Rep. Schrader’s leadership on economic issues that will help Oregon grow and prosper.

“As a farmer and small business owner, Rep. Schrader puts his experience to work for Oregon and its constituents,” explained ACC President and CEO Cal Dooley. “He has been a champion of commonsense policies that improve our economy by cutting red tape, allowing businesses to grow and create good-paying jobs. His bipartisan leadership and level-headed approach have been critical to America’s manufacturing sector and small businesses in Oregon and across our nation.”

The ads for Rep. Schrader will run for three weeks throughout District 5 of Oregon and will encourage constituents to contact the office of the Congressman to tell him to keep up the good work.
