WASHINGTON (March 23, 2021) – Join the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry’s (CPI) Spray Foam Coalition (SFC) on April 16 for a webinar on spray foam quality assurance in Canada. The Overview on Spray Foam Quality Assurance in Canada webinar will provide participants with key information on how spray foam manufacturers can help ensure safe use of the product in Canada. The webinar will be presented by the SFC’s technical consultant, Paul Duffy, who has over two decades of experience in the Canadian spray foam market.

Paul Duffy has been in the engineering consulting business for over 35 years, including ten years as a senior executive for a building products manufacturing company. Along with serving as a technical consultant for SFC, he is also a member of several standards committees. Paul also served as president of both the Ontario Building Envelope Council (OEBC) and the Canadian Residential Energy Services Network (CRESNET).

“Spray foam is a versatile high-performance insulation product that creates an air-tight barrier without the need for additional products and is able to be installed on-site,” says Stephen Wieroniey, director, SFC. “Because spray foam is installed on-site, manufacturers and applicators, in conjunction with Canadian authorities, have worked to develop and implement product stewardship requirements that help ensure the proper manufacturing and installation of spray foam.”

The free online webinar will take place at noon EDT on April 16. Registration for the webinar is open to the public now through the start of the webinar. To register for the webinar, click here. For more information about SFC, visit us online at
