The Chemical Products and Technology Division (CPTD) of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) focuses on:

Advocacy. We manage advocacy efforts that promote and defend products and positions in a credible and ethical manner.

Research. We oversee research projects that produce the highest quality information on health, safety, economics and the environment.

Education. We plan forums and develop materials that are used by panel members to educate employees, government officials, academics, those at other industry organizations and the public.

Communications. We disseminate information to the media and other key groups in an effort to improve public understanding about issues important to our panel members.

Evaluation. We engage in many types of assessment-related activities, manage the development of benchmarking projects and disseminate the results.
