Formaldehyde is a simple chemical compound that is found in nature and made of hydrogen, oxygen and carbon, with the formula H2CO. ACC formed the Formaldehyde Panel in June 2010 to represent the producers, suppliers and users of formaldehyde products, as well as trade associations representing key formaldehyde applications. The Formaldehyde Panel’s primary activities include advocacy, research, and marketplace outreach.
