The Center for Biocide Chemistries (CBC) has a wide variety of information and resources available to the public. For example, as a public service, CBC compiled a list in 2021 of more than 1,000 ready-to-use, dilutable, and wipeable biocidal products that are approved by EPA as effective at helping to kill viruses like COVID-19. CBC staff verified that each antimicrobial product complied with EPA’s “emerging viral pathogen” guidance.
