Allison Starmann

Former General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, American Chemistry Council

As General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Allison serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for ACC and its Board of Directors, where she leads legal strategy, oversees legal operations, and manages Board and Executive Committee operations.

Allison has over 20 years of environmental and regulatory experience in the public and private sector. She joined ACC in 2009 and served in a variety of legal roles before becoming General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in 2020. Prior to joining ACC, Allison served as Deputy General Counsel at the Environmental Protection Agency and worked in private practice at a national law firm. She received her bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Notre Dame.
