COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (June 6, 2018) – The American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Board of Directors approved the addition of six new Regular members at their annual meeting today, as well as two Affiliate member companies and one Associate member company.
Regular members approved today include:
- Americas Styrenics LLC, the second largest polystyrene producer in the Americas, and the third largest styrene producer in the Americas. Known as AmSty, the company is a joint venture equally owned by Trinseo LLC and Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP.
- Foremark Performance Chemicals, a leader in intermediate chemicals and derivatives for oilfield, refinery, and petrochemical applications. The company is a leading manufacturer of formaldehyde, urea-formaldehyde concentrate, and MEA Triazine.
- Gelest Inc., recognized world-wide as a leader and innovator in materials science and technology. The company manufactures and provides silane, silicone, and metal-organic compounds.
- Haldor Topsoe, Inc., a world leader in high performance catalysts, proprietary technologies, process design, and engineering and services for the oil and gas industries.
- Motiva Enterprises, operating North America’s largest refinery, the company produces fuels, base oils, and specialty products.
- SantoLubes LLC, manufactures synthetic fluids, lubricants, and greases that provide solutions for difficult applications, including extreme high temperature, chemical inertness, radiation resistance, and lubrication problems.
At the Affiliate level, ACC’s Board approved the addition of two new members:
- Arcanum
- GTM
The Board also approved the addition of one new Associate member:
- ToxTrack, LLC
