Dr. Kimberly Wise White

As the Toxicologist and Chemical Safety Navigator for the American Chemistry Council (ACC), Dr. Kimberly Wise White is one of the nation’s foremost scientific experts at the intersection of toxicology and policy. She drives the development of clear, workable, and science based chemical safety regulations that also strengthen U.S. competitiveness. Her leadership advances ACC’s priority to promote risk based, science-informed regulation, including improvements to TSCA, integrating both hazard and exposure data in chemical management approaches, and championing practical implementation frameworks that support innovation and ensure regulatory predictability. Her ability to translate complex science into actionable policy and data driven solutions makes her a trusted national voice on chemical safety, public health and environmental protection, and the regulatory foundations of U.S. manufacturing strength. 

Dr. White has more than 15 years of experience in the chemical industry. Throughout her career, Kimberly has supported federal, state and congressional advocacy on chemistries and has led the development and communication of science policy and research. She also represents industry in chemical policy discussions with various audiences, including testimony to U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate Committees.  

Previously, she served as a Scientific Advisor for the oil and natural gas industry where she was responsible for regulatory efforts and research programs focused on the environment, health, and safety.  

Dr. White received Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in biology and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Environmental Toxicology from Texas Southern University. As a toxicologist, Dr. White calls for restoring trust in science to safeguard health and the environment. White advocates for trust to be restored in science in order to protect human health and the environment.
