Yates Parker

Chief Financial Officer, American Chemistry Council

As Chief Financial Officer, Yates is responsible for developing, implementing, and directing ACC’s overall financial policies as well as direct responsibility for all funds and financial functions within the organization. He also oversees CHEMTREC (a division of ACC) by working closely with their Chief Executive and Advisory Committee to guide the strategic direction of the organization.

Prior to joining ACC, Yates was the CFO and VP Operations at Railinc Corporation, a for-profit subsidiary of the Association of American Railroads. In 2010, he was named CFO of the year by the Triangle Business Journal for his work at Railinc. Prior to Railinc, he held financial executive positions at Kinetic Systems Inc. and Kidde PLC and was a senior auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a graduate of N.C. State University with degrees in accounting and business management. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a certified public accountant.
