Tesco partnered with Plastic Energy, SABIC, Sealed Air, and Brandburys Cheese to introduce recycled food grade flexible plastic packaging from materials returned by customers. This new packaging is made possible through advanced recycling, which converts hard-to recycled plastics into a feedstock for producing new plastics made with recycled content. The innovative closed-loop collaboration demonstrates how flexible plastic packaging can be recycled over and over again, which contributes to the circular economy.
