ACC comments to STB: Eliminating Regulatory Barriers to Competition 

The American Chemistry Council (ACC) is pleased to provide comments on the Surface Transportation Board’s (STB) Proposed Rule to repeal its regulations on “Intramodal Rail Competition.” ACC strongly supports the full repeal of 49 CFR 1144, which narrows the Board’s statutory authority to provide access to competitive rail service through reciprocal switching, through routes, and through rates.
