8 Years of #ACCAugust!

With Congress now in its last week of session until mid-September, ACC’s Political Mobilization Department is making final preparations for our annual #ACCAugust push!

This August recess, our team will be working with member companies to host elected officials to highlight the vital role the chemical industry plays in their respective communities, and engage in meaningful dialogue on priority issues for the business of chemistry.

In the past 7 years, we’ve brought some of the most prominent political leaders of both parties out into their home states to meet with companies and learn about the business that touches 96% of all manufactured goods - chemistry.

With the critical role the business of chemistry is playing in advancing medicine and creating a greener planet, it’s more important than ever for Congress to hear from the 529,000 Americans working to keep the U.S. competitive in the global economy.
