A shared passion for Responsible Care®
Steve and Denise are stewards of their local communities, but their actions resonate from the states to Washington, D.C. through a shared passion for Responsible Care, ACC’s third-party audited EHS&S initiative.
Responsible Care is our industry’s commitment to the health and safety of our employees, the communities in which we operate and the environment as a whole. And ACC members recently had a banner year: in 2023 (for which the most recent data is available), Responsible Care companies achieved record-setting performance in transportation safety, process safety, and worker safety.
That’s the power of Responsible Care in action: measurable results that strengthen trust in our industry and illustrate that we are committed to environmental health and safety.
We expect to see more great news from Responsible Care as we evaluate our most recent environmental performance data, coming out later this year.
Thank you to Steve and Denise, and all ACC Board members and staff, for steering us toward our common vision for a safer, cleaner and healthier future made possible by chemistry.
