WASHINGTON (August 26, 2020) – The American Chemistry Council (ACC) will run issue advertisements highlighting Rep. John Katko (NY-24) for his leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“When the nation was hit with the COVID-19 pandemic, the business of chemistry across the nation stood up to the challenge of ensuring that the products needed to protect our first responders were readily available,” said ACC President and CEO Chris Jahn. “Sen. Katko was a strong advocate for our industry and all New Yorkers, helping essential businesses and their employees so they could continue their work making the products that go into hand sanitizers, protective equipment, and other necessary products.”

The television ads for Rep. Katko will run for approximately two weeks throughout New York’s 24th congressional district and will encourage constituents to contact the office of the representative to thank him for standing up for essential businesses, first responders, and all of New York.
