WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 5, 2021) – The American Chemistry Council (ACC)’s Plastics Division is pleased to welcome 12 new companies to its newly created value chain membership tier, which includes converters, distributors, and additive and equipment suppliers who participate in ACC’s Responsible Care® program, Operation Clean Sweep®, or an applicable equivalent operational safety program. These new members include: Agilyx, Alterra Energy, Berry Global, Braven Environmental, Brightmark, Encina, NPXOne, Pregis, Saudi Aramco, Sealed Air, Tekni-Plex, and WinCup.
Through this new membership tier, ACC’s Plastic Division is inviting companies from across the plastics value chain to join in the organization’s best-in-class advocacy efforts.
“Our expanding and diversified membership underscores ACC’s leadership role on plastics issues, the value of Plastics Division engagement, and our industry’s commitment to helping solve some of the nation’s greatest challenges — such as accelerating a circular economy and moving toward a lower carbon and more sustainable future,” said Joshua Baca, ACC’s vice president of plastics. “Our growing membership is strengthening industry’s support of sound public policy, investments in sustainability, and ability to deliver innovative products that that benefit people and the planet.”
