American Chemistry Council Approves Nine New Members

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (November 3, 2021) – The American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Board of Directors approved the addition of five new Regular members at its annual meeting today. The Board also approved two Associate member companies, one Responsible Care® Partner, and one new product group within its Chemical Products and Technology division.

Regular members approved today include:
  • Addipel, a part of Barentz. Addipel manufactures powder blends and compacted pellets of any non-pigmentary polymer additives.
  • USALCO, a leading provider of high-quality specialty chemicals used in water and wastewater treatment and other industrial applications in the United States.
  • Ecovyst Inc., formerly known as PQ Corporation. Ecovyst Inc. is a leading integrated and innovative global provider of specialty catalysts and services. 
  • PQ LLC, a leading global provider of specialty catalysts, services, and chemicals that serve applications including consumer products, construction, industrial and process chemicals, and natural resources.
  • Flexsys America L.P., a manufacturer of insoluble sulfur, anti-degradants, and post-vulcanization stabilizers
At the Associate level, ACC’s Board approved the addition of two new members:
  • Knowde, an online marketplace for ingredients, polymers, and chemistry.
  • BakerHostetler, a national law firm.
The Board also approved the addition of one Responsible Care Partner:
  • Precision Terminal Logistics, a service contractor for several Class 1 railroads providing product transfer between rail and highway modes.
As a self-funded product group within ACC’s Chemical Products and Technology division:
  • The Rubber Anti-degradant Panel, supporting the assessment and advocacy of chemistry used as an anti-degradant for rubber materials.
