WASHINGTON (February 23, 2022) — The American Chemistry Council (ACC) announced today at its board of directors meeting that AdvanSix President and CEO Erin Kane will become ACC’s newest board officer, effective February 23, 2022.

Her leadership will help to ensure ACC continues to aid our members in navigating the changing landscape of today and furthering our goal of a cleaner, safer industry for tomorrow.”

Erin’s insight, experience and guidance will strengthen ACC’s position as the leading voice for the industry as we continue to promote the role of American chemistry in a global manufacturing future.
Following formal approval by the board of directors, Kane will first assume the role of Vice Chairman of the Board and chair of the Council’s Board Finance, Audit and Membership Committee. She’ll serve in this capacity for one year, followed by a one-year term each as Chairman of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Board. Kane was first elected to ACC’s board of directors in 2017.
