WASHINGTON (May 19, 2025) – The American Chemistry Council (ACC) today announced the appointment of Michele Schoeppe to General Counsel, effective May 19. “I’m thrilled to welcome Michele back to ACC as General Counsel and head of our Legal Services division,” said ACC President and CEO, Chris Jahn. “Michele has a track record of succeeding in the courts and is already up to speed on many ACC issues that will enable her to hit the ground running from day one. As we look forward to having Michele come on board, I also want to recognize Ted Waugh for his leadership in overseeing ACC’s Legal Services division in an acting capacity for the past nine months.”
