WASHINGTON (May 5, 2026) – The American Chemistry Council (ACC) today announced the launch of an independent expenditure advertisement highlighting Congressman Brett Guthrie’s (R-KY-02) efforts to strengthen Kentucky’s economy and support American manufacturing.

The ad underscores Rep. Guthrie’s vote to cut taxes for small businesses so they can reinvest, create high‑paying jobs, and protect U.S. manufacturing, as well as his bipartisan leadership to streamline permitting and ensure access to affordable, reliable energy.

“Congressman Guthrie is working to grow Kentucky’s economy, support small businesses, and advance practical energy solutions that benefit families and manufacturers alike,” said Chris Jahn, President and CEO of ACC.

The ad for Rep. Brett Guthrie will run for approximately two weeks throughout Kentucky’s 2nd congressional district and will encourage constituents to contact his office to tell him to keep up the good work.
